I Have Always Questioned the Meaning of Life
I believe that before "The Big Bang" there was something that happened to create the bang. This is where I believe "God" comes into play. A lot of people may not believe in this, but I think "God" had to exist to make something happen. If there had not been consciousness to make something happen, there would just be "nothing." Of course, this is where the theory of "The Chicken and the egg" comes in. Which came first? You can also argue again, that these things are far more complex for the human mind to comprehend...but if you put together space and air, and what it takes to create water and chemicals to create other things which actually spawn life...then it's possible there is some sort of answer. However, a lot of people argue that it's been there all along, but you still have the question of how and why. We believe that we have only been here for as long as we have been out of the womb, or technically sperm growing inside the womb. What if it's just one big circle? What if the new theories about our souls being as old as the beginning of time itself is part of one big circle? What if time resets itself?
It is possible that deja vu is memory from that life you lived before...the same life you're living now. What if ghosts, or spirits as some call them, are just waiting to be reborn once the cycle starts all over again? Again, it's just a theory, but it kind of makes sense if you think about it. We don't remember our full lives, however, we may remember bits and pieces, and more and more as the cycle repeats itself...and it will repeat until it's completely finished. And when it finishes, what if we remember everything from before? I'm not sure how I feel about that thought, but then again, it's possible that we just haven't experienced our full potential. THe next question is, is there an end to all of it? Do we get to see what happens once history has repeated itself as many times as it needs to until we finally understand the meaning of life? If all of this is true, then we don't have to worry anymore. If it's not true, we still have the question of "why?" How come we are here, and alive? What purpose do we serve if not for God? And if there is no purpose, then why do we keep trying to live and make something of it all? It would be a depressing life actually knowing that there is no meaning. Then why are we even sentient? If there is no meaning to life, then sentience is just torture.
