I Am Not Where I Wanted to Be At This Age

As a kid I always thought being a teen meant being popular with tons of friends, always going outside past 9pm, no responsibilities either and going to parties a lot and shopping with friends etc. I thought I'd have a boyfriend right now and even a part time job now and maybe even my first car - but I don't have any of those things. I am a little disappointed about my boring life as a teen though, not being allowed outside at all, and not having a bf or part time job or whatever. But for the most part I like it I guess, but it's certainly not the best. I'm not asking for what I imagined as a kid above, but I'd appreciate a little more "me time" besides using it all for school work and chores, and by going out more like I'd like to.
