That depends on your ability to feel emotions. You can be nostalgic about as little as listening to a song a lot in this period of time when you look back in 10 years.
Funny how I thought about this just yesterday. That things I felt super nostalgic and romantic about just a few years ago don't move me anymore. I covered them with new impressions of those particular places. It's like turning a page and starting anew. It's as if a part of my life ended, the chapter closed and I don't really have the access to it anymore.
To explain better what I mean: it's memories from my childhood that I used to recognize as nostalgic as a teen or in my early 20s. Memories of places that now look differently or my dreams I once had of them when I was younger. Thinking about it no longer triggers those kind of emotions. It's suddenly a very banal thing.
