What God Says About You

Sometimes we listen to the wrong voice. Sometimes we listen to Satan, instead of God.

You are NEVER a burden to God. EVER.

It’s not always easy to do, I know. I struggle with negative thoughts at times, but we need to take every negative thought and replace it with God’s Word. This is who we are, in Christ:

You are forgiven. Ephesians 1:8

You are victorious. 1 John 5:4

You are not helpless. Philippians 4:13

You are protected. John 10:28

You are not alone. Hebrews 13:5

You CAN be strong. Ephesians 6:10

You are dearly loved. Colossians 3:12

You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalms 139:14

You have peace. Ephesians 2:14

THE KEY TO PEACE

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26:3

May God’s word fill you with the peace that only HE can give. ❤

Even St Paul had a hard time with negative thoughts sometimes.

"For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do."
@Thinkerbell Exactly. Thank you. I'll be writing a post about that pretty soon. Probably within the next few days as the Lord has been leading me to. I pray it will bless and help everyone, as it has me.

He don't like me
@KingofBones1 I'm very sorry to hear that. I truly am. All I can tell you is I know that God can give us all a brand new life if we will put him first in our lives. I used the following even on myself . I always tell myself "Change your mind, and you will change your life. When you know better, you do better. Don't repeat your mistakes, because if they didn't work the first time, they are not going to work the second time."

Life tells us and gives us warnings about what things we need to change, so we can be happy in life, as the Lord intended. I believe God's going to change your life for the better. I truly do. I think you're a good person and you're trying your best but with it help and guidance from the Lord, we do even better. God has shown you to be careful who you trust, and who are not your friends. That's a good lesson we can all learn. ❤🫂👍

@LadyGrace thank you I really appreciate that and I am trying but I just don't have a lot of do-overs in me left I've had to start over several times and this last time almost completely wiped me out so I've got to win this time and thank you for caring and taking the time to listen it means a lot
@KingofBones1 I love you friend and I have to tell you that during my worst moments in life and I mean they were bad, I finally finally got it through my thick head, that I cannot do this on my own. It does wipe a person out. Man, I didn't know I was so stubborn. When I finally stopped struggling and prayed about it and asked God to help me and just trusted with all my heart and let go of trying so hard, God stepped in and was able to do something. That was the hardest thing in the world for me to learn, is to let go, and let God help. Since he knows all about us, he knows what areas need working on the most and how he can help us best. I'm not saying you have to do that, but I'm just telling you what finally really worked for me, after a whole 25 years! The more I prayed and read my Bible, the more peace I had in my heart. That's a peace that only God can give. I learned that the hard way.

No, it's not going to be easy because if it was easy we'd never learn anything from our mistakes nor remember not to make them again! But I tell you it is so well worth it and God has given me peace in my heart and mind, since I rededicated my life to him and allowed him to help me. Just leaned on him and trusted him, and he came through like crazy, I tell you. That's what he does. He makes lives better, and transforms them by his Holy Spirit. And I said "God I just can't do this anymore. I just can't. You've got to help me" and when I gave over and surrendered my stubborn will and just put my trust and life in His hands, and allowed him to help me, everything changed.

We just can't change under our own power. We just don't have that kind of power, but God does. Not going to happen. Ever. But God knows just what to do with our failures and mess ups. Who better to trust, than a God who can see into our future? And if he can do that for somebody like me, he can do that for anybody, including yourself. I just let go and prayed to God everyday and still do, and got into my Bible to see what works, and just am keeping my mind focused on him alone, and boy, I can't tell you the peace he has brought to my heart and mind because of that and that's a hard thing to do, I know, a hard thing to do...to let go. But nothing else sure worked and nothing would ever and that's when I let God step in and take over. And he didn't hurt me. He proved to me that he's only there to help me and he'll do that for anybody if they're willing to give him a chance and trust him. He just will not let you down. I wouldn't be saying all this and wasting my breath, if he didn't. In fact, the 52 years I have been following Christ, and yes so many times I failed, but I just picked myself back up and started again.

It's just that sometimes I forget to let go and let God and then that's when I'm miserable, but other than that, he has never let me down in those 52 years. That's a fact. And he'll do that for anybody, if that's what they want. He's always waiting for us to come to him so he can help us. He loves that, because he loves you! I love you and you can believe I'm going to pray for you every single day and I believe God's going to transform your life by the Holy Spirit, as well. God doesn't say "You better change before I can accept you, and before you come to me!" No. Not at all. It's not like that. He already loves and accepts you....just as you are... and he just says "Come to Me, and I will help you and give you rest. You cannot transform your life, but I can...and I will!" That's a promise, and God never breaks a promise.

You'll never be sorry, I tell you that. God keeps his word, and he never abandons us, like two-faced people who will lie to us and leave us. I love you, friend. There's just no substitute for Christ. He can see exactly what we need in our lives. No guessing. And he gives us the exact formula and plan for a successful life in his book, the Bible. Christ is the missing piece to the puzzle of life. He is the key to Salvation and a brand new life. No doubt about it. He will not let you down. Man, I have been in the pits of what felt like hell and that was from striving and trying to do everything my way, but the minute I finally, finally, in my stubbornness, looked in the one place I had never looked before, and that was up, to Jesus, and went to him in prayer, that's when he transformed my whole life FOR ME. I am not smarter than God! And neither is anybody else.

I have seen him take the worst alcoholics in the world and change their lives and they never went back or touched another drop! I saw that with my own eyes. It was just amazing and he took the desire for alcohol from them. That's how he can change lives, like he does with drug addicts and everything else. The guy who turned from alcohol is now a minister, testifying to the saving power of Christ in his life. He never had a desire for another drop of liquor from that day fourth, when he asked Jesus to come into his heart and life as Savior. That was like 15 years ago. The guy's still preaching. Haha he used to be my pastor before he moved! That's something only God can do. It doesn't take our best efforts or willpower. We don't have the kind of power God has to help us. It takes faith and just trusting God that he will do what he says he will do and I can vouch that he does exactly what he says he will do. I wouldn't have followed him all these 52 years if he didn't. God is no liar.

And I have to tell you. He worked a miracle in another 17-year-old boy's life who went down the basement to hang himself and God stopped him, because when he dropped along with the rope, it wouldn't hold him, and he come crashing down to the floor and that's when he repented and gave his life to God, realizing that life really is a gift and that God had a purpose for him, and I tell you, I have never heard such great preaching in all my life. He gave his life to Christ and preached for years! Best preaching I've ever heard in my life! I miss him so much, because he went home to be with the Lord a few years ago.

If you don't mind I'm going to share my experience story with the rest who may miss this. Never because I'm great because I want to show people how great God is and what he can do in our lives. If he can help me, then he can help anyone. Someone may be struggling with alcohol or drugs or an addiction of some type and just maybe this will help one. I hope it will help others, but even if just one person is helped, God will get the glory he deserves. Thank you for listening.
