Love taken always runs out.
Love given can be infinite.

Happiness granted is never appreciated.
Happiness earned makes one grateful.

Life’s love and happiness are found in what you give and earn, not in what you take or have.

It’s similar in how most ppl approach any form of relationship; what can I get out of this, rather than what can I give to this.

@soulrespite Yes, unfortunately many people approach all of life like this, but especially relationships. We often believe that they’re meant to fulfill us. This is true when we’re children and must be taken care of, but part of growing up is understanding when you need to take that role on yourself.
