Cost of Living & People’s Everyday Struggles

Insurance costs—especially auto and home—are a big concern, and many families feel squeezed by high premiums and systemic challenges. Despite the challenges, I see a shift—more people believe in Louisiana’s future again. I’d love to meet someone who sees that possibility, too There’s a renewed sense of cautious optimism among Louisianans. Recent polling shows more residents believe the state is heading in the right direction, especially on issues like economy and education.

@masterofyou Hard to believe that in the 80's and 90's, Pizza Hut used to be the place to be. Fun time for the whole family, music, good food, video games, good atmosphere... For us kids it was basically a five star restaurant.

Now it is hanging by a thread.

@masterofyou I am just guessing here but maybe because New York is too expensive to buy a house or try to run a brick and mortar business.

What happened in 62 to cause it though?
