Not a good idea to be reading Athanasius with Just for Laughs Gags is on tv while listening to Chopin
Makes me feel all depleted, earlier had the Olympics on while reading and with Corelli's Concerto grossi, and that wasn't good either. I gotta be reading without those image based diversions, music is fine, but classical is hit or miss, something mysterious inside decides whether it'll work or not, and methinks i need a dose of dad before i get a good reading day done, tonight i missed my dad fix.
So now i'm gonna nibble on some snack trays, and read in bed with no music, just the loud fan, the birds outside, giving way around 10am to the shouts and hollers of children, oh i hope the grounds people come over and mow the lawn, or roof guys pounding up there, something to provide a rich cacophony of noise, earlier at 3am a nearby train whistled for awhile that was nice.
