Streets of Cobblestone
As I walk alone on streets of cobblestone. My mind begins to roam through all the things gone wrong.
The world that we have known, has now been overthrown.
Grass we once had sewn, is paved with rock and stone. No place is left unknown. Good deeds have not been done.
Morals to the wind have flown, and innocence has long since gone.
The rich now sit on thrones while the poor have lost all hope. Soldiers without homes are left to fend all on their own.
Technology has overgrown. Our faces now in phones, though we are not alone.
This is now the norm.
All that we have done, will never be undone.
How can we atone ?
For no Mercy will be shown.
