Did we all just forget about the pokeacopolypse?

Was the Pokémon Go apocalypse a whole fever dream, personally I never took part, but enjoyed watching others go crazy, like this was an actual thing guys wtf even was 2016?
We went from crying about Harambe, to being spooked about clowns appearing in random places 😂miss 2016 with all my heart, sweet 16✌️
