How did this happen?

I hadn't heard from a friend of mine in years, and yesterday he came to my mind out of nowhere and I wondered "Oh I haven't heard from him in years!!" And then the very next day I got a text from him, saying he'll be visiting my country soon and will meet up!
How did this happen??? Thinking about him after ages and receiving his text the very next day??
