What are your thoughts on euthanasia (medically assisted death)?

@Blondily I still remember that huge debate back in the 90's with Kevorkian, and Oregon's own ballot measure that barely passed. While I do understand an individual's desire to die with dignity, it is still very rough on their loved ones.

@NativePortlander1970 My mom wanted to die and I wanted her to because my dad died before her. He was taking care of her due to alzheimers. After he died I had to tell her over and over that he had passed away because she would forget. She broke down and cried everytime! Broke my heart! I wanted her to be with dad, she had no life with that disease. She was finally with him 4 years later and at peace. If I had alzheimers I'd want to be dead too. I would want euthanasia. Dreadful disease!!!!

@Blondily (((((HUGS))))) I am so very sorry for your losses 😥🤗❤ I have seen it several times with a few maternal side relatives, it is indeed horrible.

@Blondily It may not be an absolute cure, but highly concentrated indica Cannabis oil has been shown in some cases to halt the advances of Alzheimers, one video I watch, that youtube has since deleted for obvious reasons, said one man he made what is called Phoenix Tears for even started to reverse and heal from its effects.

@NativePortlander1970 its too bad that they dont make this known more publically. Was this known 8+ years ago when my mom died? Back then they said coconut oil helped. But it didn't my mom bought some when she found out she had the disease.

@Blondily we put our pets to sleep do our kids or parent get to make our decisions on this.

@Blondily (((((HUGS))))) It was, yes, I found the video in 2011, it was taken down by youtube back in 2014. Fortunately I downloaded the video series before it was deleted, I have it among my various Cannabis videos I have on a portable hard drive somewhere in storage.

@Blondily i am just saying it would need to be a decision made by the one who it would affect. I have a friend who's brother was dating a woman mother of his child she was in a accident. The doctors said she needed to stay on life support for another week to heal before removing life support for her to survive. They got a ct order to remove the life support causing her death. For the 100k life support. I know 100k is not a lot her family were into drugs and shady stuff. He then fought to get custody of his daughter because they wanted the child benefits from ss the child would receive.

Also how would this treat life insurance

@dale74 Now that's a different scenario. She should have been treated by doctors. I told the hub to pull the plug if Id be in a vegetative state for the rest of my life. Same with him.

@Blondily and that's understandable, but the doctors were saying that she should make a full recovery.She was at an eighty percent likelihood of making a full recovery, but the parents demanded and even got a court order for them to pull the plug

@Blondily It makes absolute sense, big pharma hates Cannabis therapy videos on any platform

@Blondily Sadly, yes, the pharmas cannot patent cannabis by law, so they keep it prohibited.
