Even if you get shot in the head, you’re gonna stop breathing and that’s gonna be painful. You must feel it on some level…

And a heart attack? Your heart stops but you keep breathing for a while. And you must be conscious.😰

I think maybe sometimes it’s so fast and the pain so intense that it extinguishes everything immediately

then there are slow painful deaths (from illness)

And I guess the slowest death of all is living until an old age… living can be painful at times, but it can also be beautiful
