I'd go, peacefully and gratefully.
I've written my will and advanced health directive.
I probably have cancer. The specialists keep sending me diagnostic appointments.
But I've been far too mucked about by the system, the lack of clear diagnosis and the insufficient options and info.
If it turns out that I have it, I think the treatment is far worse than the disease,
so I will accept and allow it to kill me.
Old age is no great thing to live through. I've seen enough of the world and I don't like the way things are heading.
I feel great sorrow for those who will live to experience the worst of global warming.
