I always thought cremation was the obvious answer.
Bit of a scandal going on here in the UK atm as funeral companies have taken millions from customers only for it to be revealed that certain companies and crematoria have a stockpile of corpses they can't incinerate due to licensed operating hours and a huge backlog from the covid debacle.
Loads of changes to laws in the appropriate disposal of also now means you can't be buried at home unless you have land; it's a required distance from your house; and the plot has to be incinerated and appropriately lined so you don't decompose and attract wildlife nor poison the groundwater.
