Anyone else rather not spend money for a casket at their funeral?

I'd rather be buried under a tree or with a tree sapling...

What are you going to do with yourself?

cremated. but back to you @caPnAhab why do you want to be buired at all. Rotting carcass? Trust me when I say the tree ain't going to eat your dead body.
@robertsnj Actually it will absorb your nutrients from your rotting carcass

@robertsnj That's why they eventually dig you back up and sell your plot to the next poor sap who wants to go there when they die.

@HootyTheNightOwl if sap was your crack at a pun good job. Digging near a tree ain't good for the roots. Beside the joke/ pun (which was funny) lousy idea.

I have dug up roots on large trees before. It is crazy how far they go out and how deep they go. I only dug shallow ones for a back yard project--Far from the base of the tree. You have to cut them and the far ends with bolt cutters and dig them up in pieces.

Lumber backs will pulp the roots of trees they cut down and let the roots die over time. But how far and how deep they go is really something to behold. If the tree is like a city it is a city beneath the city.
@robertsnj Nah, no pun, Just a simple acknowledgement of how it's done.

They decided to build us a relief road in the 90's. They had to dig up an entire graveyard to do it because it's somewhere under the northbound carriageway now.

But 99 years after the last body goes into a plot, they can exhume the grave and sell it to the next customer.

This knowledge doesn't fill me with much joy either, when there are 2 graveyards here in town and both are filling fast.
