Backwards reincarnation doesn't seem reasonable at all.

@Emjay re-incarnation can be backward in evolutionary terms. Basically evolution indicates in the evolution of of consciousness. Species are usually separated by the degree of consciousness. This is this translates into the physical form.

So when the Karma degrades the Karmic structure can degrade. which means that the level of consciousness can come down. Naturally, the birth can also go backwards in the evolution.

@Renkon You're talking about a reset to an earlier point, but this involves time, and time is neither cyclic nor reversible as far as I know. I guess different cultures have different ideas on what is reasonable.

@Emjay Paradox: You can't reason what exists beyond your own existence. Theories are not realities, they only support popular belief in the present.
