Don’t you think life means just closer to death?

We all are going to die and when we die people will forget we existed. Life is filled with struggles and we are just living to die. We are hoping we die in peace without pain emotionally and physically. In my religion it is stated that life is fleeting so always know death is close. We are not taking youth , beauty or wealth with us to the grave even if we have all that. We just strive to live a decent life and be good until we die. Sometimes we fail miserably trying to be good. Life causes us to become bitter and rough. People bring out the worst in us, especially in my case.

But it helps to not complain and try to improve your life. Staying bitter is painful.

@SW-User I understand, sweapea. Hopefully one day it is. I've been there and just needed to change my perception, but life won't always be either for most of us... not a constant... even harder for some of us. 🌷

True, we just have to make the best of situations. People that are abused have it the hardest and I pray for them. I choose to be optimistic because everyone has something sad in life. We can’t have perfect lives but we can try our best to be happy. @MoonlightLullaby

beats pessimism, but I prefer realism because we can't always be optimistic everyday. We have to take it a day at a time and face each feeling that comes along. But ultimately, it is within us to be compassionate to our own selves, as well as making our lives meaningful in whatever capacity we can.
