Mighty Mouse Dies In My Toilet Yesterday

Yesterday, first thing in the AM I was greeted with a mouse in my toilet bowl! He must have worked his way up the soil pipe.
I tried to catch him, but he scurried under the rim. I couldn't reach him, I left a note for Mrs Budwick not to use that toilet and I would retrieve the mouse when I returned from work. Mr's Budwick is take charge kind of girl and used various utensils to get the mouse out from under the rim. But, he wasn't there! A little unnerved now - is he running around in the house? She flushed the toilet to make sure she didn't miss him under the rim. No mouse appeared, but the water kept running after the flush. She looked in the tank, and his lifeless body was caught under the flap.

The last 24 hours for this little guy were truly daunting. Up against incredible odds, he kept pushing on, moving forward until he could do no more. He was a tough and brave little guy.

There will be services Saturday AM Fievel Funeral Home, no flowers, send donations to Ratatouille School of Culinary Arts

Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me and loving me tonight
Somewhere out there someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another in that big somewhere out there

The terror that mouse suffered is heartbreaking. God rest his little soul. 😢🙏

Bye the way, your tribute to his/her courage and plight is beautiful and touching.

If I was a kid reading this, I would have also mourned Mickey Mouse. When I was a kid, my thinking was that Mighty and Mickey Mouse were the same. Just like Superman and Clark Kent.

HA HA..the funniest story ever. sorry you had a scare. i worked part time at a nursing home. 2 sisters who had had strokes came out running. there were 2 frogs in their toilet. they tried to flush them down to no avail.

..the funniest story ever

The mouse was not amused. LOL

I felt bad. I had a place I was gonna put him outside where he would have been warm, dry and safe.
@Budwick Exactly.
Thanks for being a kind person.

He’s here to pay his respects…
I really can sympathize in ways I'd rather not speak of.

Every little life matters, their souls are not little are they?

Thank you for a lovely tribute.
