I Think About Death

Why can't the world just experience some catastrophe that thrusts me into life or death situations. It's clear to me that I will never leave so it just needs to hurry up. I sometimes ponder a person breaking in and killing my entire family and it's liberating. When I have power over the situation there is no progress, I need it taken from me.
