I Do Not Fear Death, But I Fear An Unlived Life

The thought of dying doesn't keep me up late at night; the thought of not contributing in a significant way is what troubles me. I cannot fathom the idea that my existence is just an afterthought.

Strange, to me. If your dead, the living world doesn't matter anymore.

What're you going to do to contribute in a significant way?

It's not about what the living is going to think of me after my death. It is about me going to my deathbed not feeling like I wasted my life.

Absolutely anything. From showing kindness to someone to creating a positive change in the world. At the moment I do not feel like I have done even the most simple thing to better my life or someone else's life. @Tatsumi

@MerryCherry Whoops. Wrong post. Brb

@MerryCherry Ahh, okay. Makes sense. Still strange, to me, though.

I find it hard to believe, though, that in 26-30 years you haven't made some degree of difference. You probably have done more for other people than you realize. Maybe for yourself, too.

I have done a lot since gaining my independence, but until I actually FEEL like I've made a difference I can't think otherwise. @Tatsumi
