In light of my witnessing an act which required considerable courage.

The Greek poet and fabulist Aesop (c. 620 - 564) is credited with saying
"It is easy to be brave from a distance."
How do you show your greatheartedness?

Placing yourself in another person's shoes
Seeing all of the people and possessions
That they are about to lose
Remembering when the day came
And there was nobody there for you
Never wanting another to feel
Suffering, lonley, defeated
That is enough motivation
To make me choose
@PoeticPlay An honorable thoughtful approach.

I like following the example that my grandfather set.
He didn't just teach while standing and facing you and recite the lessons, he became the lesson.

I was raised to believe that love is an action word.
First you say it, then you do it.
@PoeticPlay Excellent advice.
