Need to get this guilt off my chest: confession

When I was 16-20 each time I had pets I’d always let them whither away.. meaning I’d stop feeding them until they perished.
I got lazy and didn’t know how else to get rid of them.
My pets usually were small, like hermit crabs, frogs, fish, etc. still not an excuse though.
I literally was an animal killer and now that I’m older, years later, I look back and I hate myself for doing that. I feel very guilty and I sincerely regret doing that. It happened multiple times.

I think there was a movie where someone flushed their baby pet alligator down the toilet where it grew into a giant... and terrorized the city.

@AnonymousJSS I never said it was okay to forgive me, I said you have to do what is best for you. I know it is the past and you should forgive yourself.

@Sojournersoul You? I said you’ve told me multiple times to forgive my boyfriend. But I’m also confessing to something horrible I did in the PAST and you’re telling me not to have kids.
