Confession of love

Do you worry about friendships getting complicated?

I remember one of the guys in my friend group confess to one of the girls and she didn't handle that confession well.

We like our guy friends to stay friends
@RebelRaven i can understand that.
turningthekeys · 31-35, F
Damn. I need the full tea on that.
Elaborate!
@turningthekeys nothing much on it. We went to basic together, went to follow on together, had a little group of people we hung out with together. One of the guys started liking a girl. This guy had a kid and a wife and seemed to like every girl. This girl was reslly upset over the confession because she didn't want him in that way but didn't want to lose any friendships. We all continued training and were sent all over to different bases so it is how it goes.

Yeah it sucks when that happens. My friendship group just partly broke away because one of the girls was married to the brother of one of the other girls but their marriage broke down because he was unfaithful. She didn't want to go and socialize with her sister in law anymore.
@PatientlyWaiting25 sometimes there is hurt initially when a break up happens but none with me have ever ended so ugly that we didn't eventually be friends again.

Though that wasnt marriage or cheating.

@DeadOrbit I think a confession of love would make things awkward though.
@PatientlyWaiting25 depends on the maturity of the two people.

If love can't include friendship, I don't want the other niceties either.
@val70 i think it usually does

No worries here .....:)

You still have to go for it i think if you truly feel for someone because if you don't its possible you could have missed out on something great
@CenterPiece Yeah maybe so but maybe not too? If you are being you and living your truth every day and they don't come to see you and like you organically is that really missing out on something great?
The first time, I laughed because I thought he was joking.
@0uijaFinger oh his confidence 😆
@DeadOrbit Yeah
@0uijaFinger did he act badly over it?
Munumbis · 46-50, M
Why not? He's just being a guy, she's a young woman , he's interested in her so what? People act surprised but they know how things are.
@Munumbis she is allowed to feel how she wants to feel over it. Thats between them i just remember getting vented at over it.
GoFish · 41-45, F
Thats because he wanted to be more than friends and it wasn't mutual apparently
@GoFish i know this.
Guess thats how unique each and every one is... or some arent ready for any deeper involvement yet, and others need that spark to ignite hehe
@TequilaMoonlight but for me if someone told me how they felt I wouldn't mind even if I couldn't reciprocate. and if I told a friend and they denied me I would be okay with that and want to stay friends. How do you think you would act to news like this? would you want them to be honest even if you just wanted to stay friends or would it ruin the friendship for you?
