@SpectralMourning We met online and talked for a few weeks before our first date. When he actually showed up I felt like I had to follow through with the date. Not to mention my mom was so excited about me actually having a man interested in me she demanded I got into a relationship with him.
(I was 16, almost 17, and she had already given up on the thought of me finding a significant other)
