I'm confused on why not...
I mean, if they're negative, okay I get it and can agree, but if they're positive, then why not tell them?

@Viper Obviously if they are negative it is best to not say anything til after the fact.
Thing is even if someone is positive about things, they might start to doubt someone if the person working towards something doesn't make it. OR they might say, "You should do this or that instead"
