I just got blocked over semantics.. after they called me an idiot. I always find those who insult and then block to be the most cowardly.

I totally agree. Anyone who lacks the moral fiber to deal with reactions to their own inflammatory behavior is merely displaying the depth of their own inadequacies.
I would just add that you should perhaps consider yourself lucky in such instances because it means you'll never have to hear from that person again or have to cope with their drivel.
