I Have a Confession

I am tired of giving my heart to people and them shitting all over it......
I know it is me...
I am to blame for most of it...
I am very closed off and can't get close so they move on...
Or I am too honest and they can't handle it and move on...
Or I choose the wrong friends...
and people wonder why I am hard to love...
Being burned makes you heartless in the end...

To those who stuck with me....
I love you...and I thank you for seeing past me to know me...

The hardest thing for any of us to do is to open our protective shell that protects us from heartbreak. But as long as that shell exist no one can get close to you, EVER. The decision to be made is, do we risk the chance of heartbreak for a chance at happiness. That is what you have to decide. Is the risk worth it to YOU.
