Ah, but woe is me! For I cannot change these things, yet I still try.

I'm considering sending a message to someone, to tell someone else that I miss them. I can't contact that second person through any other method.

But I'm scared. I feel that I won't be well accepted. I don't know what to do. most of all, I feel that sending that message, in order to have such a trivial thing passed on will change nothing.

And I'm probably right.

..

I don't know what to do.

The "things you cannot change" are everything but yourself. Think about that for a moment and it's freeing in a way; you only have to be responsible for how you act. I think a good rule of thumb is to add goodness to the universe every chance you get. Send the message. People like knowing they're cared for and missed. You never know - it could be the one nice moment in that person's day.

Just remember, tell them because you want to share your affinity, not in expectation of anything else. Best of luck.
