Ah, but woe is me! For I cannot change these things, yet I still try.

I'm considering sending a message to someone, to tell someone else that I miss them. I can't contact that second person through any other method.

But I'm scared. I feel that I won't be well accepted. I don't know what to do. most of all, I feel that sending that message, in order to have such a trivial thing passed on will change nothing.

And I'm probably right.

..

I don't know what to do.

Send it. At least you won't have regrets that you could have tried something, and didn't.

You're anticipating a negative outcome. And, perhaps you're right. But if you never try, you won't ever know.

Do it.

If I were on the receiving end, I would at least appreciate the effort you made (unless you did something truly unacceptable, like beat me, shoot my kid, are a pedo, or gambled away all my money, or forwarded my sext to everyone you know... in which case you are never getting back into my good graces. I will forgive you, but never let you back into my life).

And if you don't mind a little advice, don't whine. Don't make excuses. If you have something to apologize for, be a man and do it from your heart.

Soft breezes to you and the very best of luck to you.
