I'm changing the beneficiary of my life insurance

So that when something happens to me, roommate will be able to pay my half of rent at least until the end of the lease. He won't have to stay in this house if he doesn't want to.

You are way nicer than I would be.
LeGrotesque · 41-45, F
@CurrentName he'd never stop talking trash about me if I left him high and dry.

@LeGrotesque
That right there would be reason enough for me to leave him like you say, high and dry.
Midlifemale · 61-69, M
@LeGrotesque he doesn't sound like a nice guy at all....he deserves nothing
Jamesy · 41-45, M
He has turned you into a lugubrious beauty
hunkalove · 70-79, M
Well, darn. There goes that Lamborghini I was counting on.
Jamesy · 41-45, M

Good luck navigating thru all the red tape in today's big corporation, automated world.

@LeGrotesque I mean all the red tape involved to get the beneficiary changed. Used to be that an agent came to your house, you signed a paper, and the beneficiary was changed. Simple.
It's not like that anymore in most cases.
LeGrotesque · 41-45, F
@Horace then I guess it won't be changed. 🤷🏻‍♀

@LeGrotesque I wanted to change my mother's beneficiary from myself to my daughter, and it was a frustrating red tape nightmare. Forms, paperwork, power of attorneys, notaries, etc., and they did everything by snail mail. They eliminated agents and a local office. Just corphole headquarters in Nashville. I don't mean to discourage, just advising as to what you MIGHT be in for.
