I used to think the worst thing in life was to end up all alone

It’s not. The worst thing in life is ending up with people who make you feel all alone. - Bobcat Goldthwait

I lost over 30lbs of body fat between the second week of September and the third week of December and the only person that noticed, was a coworker. My family still doesn’t realize my clothes don’t fit anymore.

I only get my hair cut every few months, but I still get the same high and tight I did in the military. So I go from unkempt hobo, to spick and span soldier. It was two nights before my wife realized I got a haircut.

Tis the Year Of The Dove - forgive, forget, love unconditionally

It is possible I’m being overly sensitive

Very relatable

@BrandNewMan I’ve been wondering if it’s a normal husband/father thing. Which is why I’m open to the possibility of just being overly sensitive. It just feels crummy; like a tool brought out when needed, but never wanted

@TransientTinkerer I've lived this to an extent. I'm a big guy and can understand my early weight loss going unnoticed. It was my youngest son that noticed first. I was down more than twice your 30 before most others did. Talk about not feeling seen by those around you. I get where you are at here .. and it doesn't sound oversensitive to me.
