still have parts for cars, tools, etc. that are over 30-40 years old; even for stuff I no longer have. I keep telling myself I'll find a use/repurpose them one day...

@wildbill83 reminds me of this past weekend. my brother had shoved everything that was on his dresser top into boxes...tools, money, pens...there were boxes of car parts that went back to 2018
