Getting changed from ballet classes, and yes I remembered my knickers!

It’s warming up here, so the goats will like the hollow refilled with water. I think Krizstina is home all day today. The guy who bought four of our older goats is collecting them today. I’m not sure what he wants to do with them, abattoir yes, but afterwards I think he will just butcher for meat. Seems very sad, since we have given them names but they are not as productive on the farm anymore so they are for the butcher’s knives.

It feels wrong but it is what mankind has been doing with its herds for millennia! You just need to desentimentalise the inevitability of the situation.
