One thing I’ve learned by now for sure is that I can’t please everyone…

It’s a shame because in my mind I just wanna hug everyone and ask em if they are ok … then listen to them each problem and reach out from there

But I’m not God’

I’m not here to be all powerful or a hero in that kinda way

I can however make a difference to one person’s life and that to me is like magic

I can relate. I was something of a people pleaser for a portion of my life. I took a specific quote to heart though, “A friend to all is a friend to none”. It makes sense. With all that time for everybody, you won’t have any left for somebody.

Still, there’s another quote that I often revisit. One that is so special, it made my eyes well up with tears after hearing it right when I needed to.

“You help someone, you help everyone.”

This is also true, as the effects of our actions reach so much farther than we’ll ever understand. We end up helping so many just through one person who helps another and those who were helped help others and it multiplies and expands until it leaves the entire world itself impacted. Never underestimate the power of your kindness. Okay? Okay.
