The past does not matter, when God has a brand new beginning for you.

Our God is the God of new beginnings. He gives us new mercies every day. God replaces sorrow with joy, and disgrace with grace. He transforms death into life and the old into new. He makes a way, where there seems to be no way. From experience, I know He can do things that were never done before, and He can do new things out of the existing. Nothing is impossible for God and nothing is impossible with God.

Sometimes we get so strung up in our past, we can't see the blessings before us. And what may seem like the end for you, God sees as a new door and new beginning opening up for you. Before the new can open up, you have to be willing to turn from the past and start looking forward. Never allow yesterday, to steal Joy from today.

Nothing is impossible for God, literally nothing! He does exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20) and He does what He promises. Nothing is too difficult for God. So, don’t lose hope and don’t give up. Keep your eyes fixed on God. He will not disappoint you.

God promises that in Jesus, all things are made new, and the former things fade away. God provides you with a brand new beginning and a brand new life, by forgiving and forgetting about (Hebrews 8:12) your past, including your sins that have been forgiven. If the past trips you up, see your past the way God does – as no more, no longer determining your future.

[c=BF0000]“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17[/c]

When God gives us a new life, He doesn't even look at our old life or past mistakes. Whether or not we see it, God does new things in our lives. If we pay attention, we will recognize and embrace God’s dealings in our lives. God wants us to see He has started new things in our lives. He wants us to recognize it and even expect it, by faith.

[c=BF0000]“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?” Isaiah 43:19[/c]

Faith can move mountains, and so can prayer. I saw it, when he saved my daughter from sure death. No matter our situation and no matter who we are, God wants to do something new for us today. We only must receive it, by faith.

It's not impossible. It doesn’t depend on our circumstances, our family, or our past. It depends solely on an unchanging God, who is faithful to His promises. Even when you don't understand God's will, ways, and timing, you can fully trust that He is perfect. (Psalm 18:30).
