I don't remember who said this but he was right. We can not go any far with bad choices. When you decide to be in southing you need to study all the outcomes, and make sure that you are convinced and ready to dedicate yourself for the thing you choose so you won't regret choosing it.
The worst thing can happen to you in this situation is to be trapped and not being able to move from the situation either because it's the only place where you can be or you cannot handle the consequences of you withdrawing. That will make do do things you never thought you would do.
