Being alone sucks

It's not like I want people around me all the time.
But somehow I always end up always alone when I really need someone to talk to.

I have a friend we speak once a week or two, other than that it's just me and my thoughts.

@Littlewing Not really, if I try and they are busy it would remind me that I have no one to talk to.

So we speak randomly.

All the people available are too busy or too self involved to get anything of substance beyond fake platitudes and then their lists of crap
