If done only for laziness and convenience, then I believe it is. The unborn have rights.

If a woman (and her partner) do not wish to conceive then there are several choices available to be made to prevent that from happening.

abstinence

oral contraceptives for women

condoms for men

IUDs for women

diaphragms for women

contraceptive sponges and foams for women

the morning after pill for women

vasectomy for men

With all of these modalities available and then to still conceive a child only to demand to abort it? That is criminally negligent homicide. Their careless behavior resulted in the death of an innocent party. However, those women should have their abortion, but the consequence of their negligence is that they and their partner should be mandatorily sterilized . Knowing that before hand would probably make the use of contraception much less of a hassle for most couples.

@TexChik Mandatory sterilization is actually a good idea. I like it. Sadly, I imagine the most affected are probably young women coming from backwards places that desperately lack sex education and they might not even know how their body works. Society could do better in this regard too.

@CrazyMusicLover In my perfect world, lib indoctrination and their destruction of the American education system would be stopped. The dept of Education (created by Jimmy Carter) would be abolished. Education would be privatized and subsidized and the expenses would be tax deductible. Schools who's students stop measuring up would have a change made in the company being paid to educate the students. Politics and indoctrination will not be tolerated.

You can find the 1860 9th grade final exam on line to see just how badly the American (democrat controlled) education system is failing our children and the country.

@TexChik I'm not talking about American education. I don't know what subjects are normally taught and how. But unless kids will be taught elementary facts about male and female reproductive system, methods of anticonception and STDs, there will always be cases of unwanted pregnancies where the woman might have no idea of what is going on.
