i just wonder how much the government could pay for if it was not paying for death row inmates and multiple life sentences for a decade or more

@RedBaron you do realize that ppl get multiple chances to prove innocence before being executed. a local man killed 2 teenagers in 2002 20 yers later even though theres no doubt hes guilty hes still wating execuion

@Mountainlady16 As they should. But the system still gets it wrong in about 4% of cases. A wrongly convicted person can be released from prison, but not from death.

@RedBaron so we should spend millions of dollars caring for life for ppl that commited horrible unthinkable crimes cause a few have been wrongly convicted
RedBaron · M
@Mountainlady16 So we should execute every death row prisoner and just say, "Tough sh*t!" if and when even one of them is later exonerated, as has happened more than you realize? As I said, a wrongfully convicted person can be released from prison, but not from death.

@RedBaron it takes around 25 years to execute the person they get plenty of appeals. Most these ppl killed multiple ppl

@Mountainlady16 But you haven't addressed the issue of wrongful executions. Maybe if it happened to someone you knew, you would grow some empathy.
