I suppose the law change doesn’t change much. It just means people will have to cross state lines to get their abortions.

It will be like time travel, leaving the 20th century behind to have a medical procedure in present day settings and attitudes for most of the world.

Who’d have thought Mexicans would be more free than Texans.

Worst case scenario, go to Canada or Mexico. It's a sad state of affairs that the choice is taken away, land of the free you say?

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic That is a long way to travel. A huge percentage of women would not have the means to cover the cost of such travel.

@Gusman Well that'd be the closest option unless they let each state choose for themselves.

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic That is what the decision has allowed. Each state will make up it's own mind about whether to allow abortion or not

@swirlie That is great news.
Let's hope that there is no way forUS States to penalise those women whom have an abortion in Canada.
ie: somehow have them charged. We never know what evil people will conjure up.

I hope more join in and step up and help. So many people (using this term loosely) trying to convince others it'll be a better life in a (rapidly turning) Fascist country .. there was an underground railroad for slaves, now there may have to be an underground for women that need abortions. I'm all for it if it needs to be .. @swirlie
