I support abortion rights. [I Am For Abortion]

Here are my top 5 reasons:
1.) A fetus lacks consciousness, and the mental capacity to be a person.
2.) Allowing women to choose makes them more equal to men.
3.) It gives women the freedom to pursue their dreams.
4.) Women who get abortions are less likely to end up in poverty or abusive situations.
5.) Legal abortion reduces poverty, crime, and other negative externalities.

@Zonuss I support abortion all the way up to the 72 nd Trimester.
Dolimyte · 41-45, M
@Zonuss so is a tapeworm.
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Dolimyte A tapeworm is not a human being. You're not stupid are you.😂
Razoreye001 · 31-35, M
@Zonuss It is better to not bring any more suffering into this world than is already here. An unwanted child will suffer, and cause more suffering to others.

Human wasn't on your list.

I will love & support them@Razoreye001
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Dolimyte Well it is now🙄
Razoreye001 · 31-35, M
@Tres13 Then I salute your dedication, and wish there were more people like you in this world.

@Razoreye001 Shut that dumb shit up. An unwanted child can grow up to be a very prosperous and productive child. It's happened many times before. It's about the childs ability to learn as it goes along. And there are people who will love and honor that child for sure.
Razoreye001 · 31-35, M
@Zonuss I'm sure some can, but that doesn't mean most will. The majority of unwanted children will be born into poverty, or otherwise a bad situation. Can you speak on behalf of all mothers of unwanted children that their children will get the support they need?
Zonuss · 41-45, M
@Razoreye001 Adoption is an option.☺️
Razoreye001 · 31-35, M
@Zonuss And what percentage of children put up for adoption find loving homes? The last time I looked up the numbers it was 50%. So statistically half will not be adopted.

@MarmeeMarch Yes, but don't you think it's more ethical if you can prevent someone from being born into a painful existence they didn't ask for? For what reason should someone be born just to suffer?

@Razoreye001 every person goes through suffering at some point so why not just off the whole human race and end all wars in the process?

@MarmeeMarch No, but if you're born to parents who don't own their own home, are not employed, don't live in a good area, or don't have access to a good support system you severely limit a child's potential. We are not all born equally, nor is there enough help out there to guarantee everyone can succeed regardless of the nature of their birth. You also forget the mother suffers as much, if not more, than the child does in many instances. Growing up I knew plenty of teenaged mothers who were smart, and could have done great things with their lives had they chosen to abort their children. Not to mention society as a whole suffers when a child with low potential is born. Did you know every dollar spent on planned parenthood saves the government $3?
Razoreye001 · 31-35, M
@pianoplayingsteve Yes but there are degrees of suffering. I am not a misanthropist, or even an anti-natalist. But there hasn't been a more effective method of preventing children from being born into poverty, drugs, or a bad situation like abortion does. It's a matter of fact that the lives of people living in countries with safe access to abortion are better off than those born into countries where abortion is restricted.

@MarmeeMarch How is our immigration policy related to what I'm saying?

Razoreye001 · 31-35, M
@MarmeeMarch Well, immigration is a boon for the economy if you look at statistics. Also, who's "my own people", that sounds kinda fascy.
pianoplayingsteve · 31-35, M
@Razoreye001 how is ‘that sounds fascy’ any more of an argument than ‘that sounds commie’. Both stances are stupid.
Razoreye001 · 31-35, M
@pianoplayingsteve It just sounded strange to me, but you are right. We're getting off-topic. Can either of you name a country where abortion is illegal with a first world standard of living? Because it seems from my research, countries where abortion is legal have a higher quality of living.
