Why is it that Everytime I say out loud I don't want kids. I get the look of disgust or the pity look. Like I'm a broken person for not wanting them..is it me or does this happen to anyone else?

This world already has too many people on it and there should not be pressure on anyone to have kids.
It's not for everyone as some people are not suitable to be parents and some have other things to do with their lives.
I never had children and I'm fine with it especially as I've been a pet parent to a number of wonderful doggies.
