Do you believe patriachy is an organised scheme to subdue women to men's domination?

@ShadyBaby: Don't you think it is a simplistic view of what manhood is? Why should man be all about power and force? Can't men be delicate and subtle and non violent?

@MrSquishy: yes man can be delicate and subtle and non violent but always a man - what makes me cry is men who have been whipped into submission, passive 'nice men' whos light has been put out. Let men BE who they came here to be. Women can emasculate, and it's wrong

@ShadyBaby: Wouldn't the same apply to any human regardless of their gender and race or what ever other particularity? Shouldn't we all be allowed to be who ever we want to be?

I am just trying to encourage you to expand your thinking, I am curious to hear various opinions on that matter and I am trying to use my own opinion as a spur for conversation rather than to wall others in their thinking. What my last comment was pointing at is that when you say 'Let men be men' that suggest that there is a clear definition of what men are.
