Not if you don't let it be ..

Don't know how to not let it be. Even date nights feel like a chore.

@hideout: Sounds like the two of you need to talk about and deal with issues in your marriage. Things likely will get worse rather than better if you dont. That might mean some counseling .. but worth it to make things better.

Have been talking. Had some major downs and flats. I started seeing a therapist. She showed up a couple times. But I can't seem to get to to commit to therapy, because she is more worried about being at work all day. I also lost my time slot with my therapist because of my schedule changes. She said I need to call and find a therapist who may have my time needed available. But still hard to get my wife to commit to going.

@hideout: Try and get her going and talking about why she's not committed .. but realize it might take some action on your part to help change that.

Yeah. About all I can do at this point. We both don't listen to what the other person is saying.

@hideout: Pretty common issue .. has to stop being the two of you against each other and become the two working together to make things better. Happier has to mean both of you are happier ..

Yeah. We keep banging our heads against the wall. The therapy didn't help. But we had so many other issues at that point. And we never really went consistently.
