Is having kids the end of fun?

Baby phase sucks. But even when they are past baby phase. Still left with a wife who can be a prude is ways.

We have been. Sometimes turns into arguments. Other times we come up with plans. She called me about a comedian I might like to see. I just didn't excite me. She mentiond that maybe we should haven gotten tickets to a music festical near us. Probably just one of the days. but if I'm not going to go with someone who wants to get lit or turnt like I do. I'll feel like I'm going with my mom. I want to go with someone who feels like a romantic partner. Someone who wants to be close to me. Not someone who is going to appease me and not want to do anything crazy.

If you dont want to see the comedian..maybe let her go with a friend.

No. She wanted to find something to do with me. I love that comedian. Just didn't feel like it would be fun. It's always. I can't drink because she doesn't want to drive. But I want her to drink too. We could embrace uber. But we live kinda far. And she is super concerned with leaving right away to get back to the kids. I get it. I like to linger. But that's why I knew I didn't want kids. I told her okay. We can have kids. Because I knew she wanted them. But I should have stuck to my guy.

Sounds like you are in a rut...you wanna do something, but you are bitchin when she suggested the comedian. Sounds like it's your way or no way
But hey..I've been through that too. 10 yrs is quite a while-> just compromise and go with the flow, instead of being negative.

I feel I do all the compromise. I know should have been more receptive to the idea. It could be fun. But I want to get weird in the desert, not sit nice in my seat and laugh at the jokes.
