What remains?

When you are dead, when your time ends, when you are gone... just memories, stuff for the flee market or ebay?

Actually, I have little that is even worth selling on eBay. Not even at a flea market. What little I have might have some sentimental value to my kids....maybe.....but as what I'm talking about is my artwork and my writing, that is debatable, too. I know my youngest daughter will treasure almost anything that was once mine, but that's because she is extremely sentimental. The rest are more practical.

She won't even get anyone asking to look through my stuff before taking it all for herself, although she will be the kind to offer. Perhaps ONE of my granddaughter's might want something to remember me by, but as she already has lots that I've given her, probably not.

So. No. Most of my few possessions will go to a landfill.

Yes. But your life is more than what you possess. True?

@Dreammmer: yes. Which is what I have said in other responses on this thread. I hope my legacy will be happy memories, and strength to face and conquer adversity. As a parent and grandparent, that's the best I can hope for.
