How do you deal with people who always want something?

Well, if they don't reciprocate what I do for them the time comes to move on and put them behind me

Everyone always wants something... So, I guess the answer varies based on the behavior of the person being discussed and the situation that we find ourselves in.

But, I wanted desperately to find a girl that DIDN'T want something, except happiness with a man, and to enjoy the journey together.

Unfortunately, they don't exist. At least in USA.
