Does humility shape your understanding of what you know or don't know?

Does it shape my understanding, or does it shape what I do with my understanding. And if that's the case, then what shapes my understanding of what I know or don't know.

Good question ... Maybe both right? If you approach all knowledge with humility and disperse it with humility seems like a win/win.

A similar question; As far as humility and pride are concerned, is there a place for both? Or should everything be subject to humility?

Thanks. Maybe its alright to have pride for something, as long as it's not overbearing into others' thoughts and lives. Pride is a feeling of satisfaction from ones own accomplishments. One should feel that from their goals and accomplishments. But when it overbears other people then it becomes too much.
