arrrrrrghhhh I planned time off from work around my Dr appointment

So I didn't go in to work so that I could make my appointment but I FORGOT to go to my Doctor's appointment, I am so upset with myself for forgetting! It's nuts! I'm just venting!!!!!!!!AND I'm embarrassed!!!! Or feel self shame!!!
