If you are by yourself, without a spouse, or children, do you kind of like this type of life? Or you would wish to share life?

I’m used to it now so it’s ok 😊
Sharing seems nice sometimes, but I can't imagine having someone around every day.

@NerdyPotato Unless you were living in a huge mansion and you needed to walk 7 minutes to see them. Then maybe.....:)....
@Boeing exactly! But then that's a lot of space to keep clean and maintain. Let's go with two apartments 7 minutes apart and let the government deal with the space in between. 😌

If I can be honest I have become comfortable with living alone however I would like to have someone to share things with sometimes. But as much as I would like to share my fear is being put into a caretaker role again. Mentally I know there is no way for me to handle it.

@SageWanderer I can understand, however I can, in my situation it had been a fear of getting attached and then losing the person, that for long I felt I couldn't handle. But nowadays is different.

I am feeling more like Frida Kalo with her husband Diego Riviera, they were living in two houses connected through a bridge - that's an awesome symbolization for what could be possible.

We have no idea what is ahead of us. And there are all sorts of relationships possible, but the world is concrete.
I am not sure I could handle a man always in my life.

But perhaps I need a captain, that will go for long trips and then back again. Or I will. Or something...

@Boeing Out perspectives change as we grow and our lives evolve. There was safety and security in in our marriage, and although the trauma of losing her was difficult I have no regrets.

I’m sure you’ll find what you need and want as life goes on. But the separate residences connected by a bridge does sound idyllic.

@SageWanderer thank you. I hope you too.
